My fiance and I were taking a day to go looking for furniture because we are getting married next year. When we entered the store, a man named Adam approached us and ask us what we were looking for. We told him that we were just looking thanks for his help. He insisted again to ask us what we were looking for, we said no thanks we don't need any help. He followed us and ask when we were planning on buying something and we said that we were getting married next year and that we were just looking at the furniture. He started telling us that he owned 30 stores and that he was from Raleigh and that he was trying to sell furniture. He told us word-for-word, "If you all are not buying anything, you can leave the store." He was on our heels as we left the store! My mouth dropped, I was absolutely shocked that someone could be so rude! My fiance is in retail and could not believe how terrible this man had treated us! We went back in the store to confront him and my fiance said "I cannot believe how rude you would treat a future customer!" and Adam said "You are not my customer unless you buy something!". I began crying because of my experience at this store. A heated argument arose and we believe that we were talked down to because we were young adults. The manger was not apologetic at all. I would not recommend this store- not because of their product- we weren't even given the opportunity to look at the product however their owner is simply stated- rude! I've never been so offended walking into a store in my life!
